Meet our Occupational Therapist Elizabeth Ference who obtained her undergraduate degree in 2005 at the University of Georgia for Exercise Science and then went on to receive her Master’s in Occupational Science at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2007.
Since Graduation, she has been providing Occupational Therapy services in a variety of settings including Short Term Rehabilitation, Long term Rehabilitation, Outpatient Services, and Pediatric services. In addition to these settings Elizabeth also was the owner of “Sense-Ability” which provided Therapeutic Horseback Riding services to Pediatrics. Currently working towards her Certification as a Hand Therapist, Elizabeth hopes to expand her abilities even further providing outpatient services for the orthopedic population.
Elizabeth’s certifications include: PAMPCA (Physical Agent Modalities Practitioner Credentialing Agency) services, CPR/First Aide Infant and Adult, PATH Instructor Certification (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), and Level 1 Hippotherapy.
Elizabeth also enjoys the NC mountains and all it has to offer, including gardening, hiking, and fishing. She is happily married with 2 daughters. Her greatest enjoyment is spending time with her family and helping others.
