Our treatment plans take a holistic approach, targeting the common pain triggers, and are led by certified Physical Therapists. We focus on building strength, improving flexibility, and correcting posture to alleviate pregnancy’s strain on a woman’s body. The added weight, poor posture, stress, and altered center of gravity work in tandem, leading to muscle fatigue and decreased motivation to remain active. However, our Physical Therapy interventions can help slow this domino effect and make it easier for expecting mothers to manage lower back pain and other discomforts.
During pregnancy, our treatment methods include Muscle Energy Techniques, Massage, Core Stability and Strength Training, Postural and Pelvic Floor Re-education, Sacroiliac Belt Fitting, and Home Exercise Plans. After delivery, we offer a range of treatments to address Diastasis Recti, Scar Management, Body Mechanics, Core Strengthening, Low Back Pain, Abdominal and Pelvic Floor Strengthening, and Nerve Pain.
